Story
In August 2017, the Rohingya community faced a violent genocide in Myanmar. It left thousands dead, and hundreds of thousands traumatised and fleeing to Bangladesh in search of safety.
There are now 1.1 million Rohingya refugees living in the extremely densely populated Coxs Bazar, making it the worlds largest refugee camp. These people are struggling to survive day by day without access to proper healthcare, sanitation, education or nutrition.
This Ramadan, RCF have pledged to raise money to provide families in the camp with food packs. The food packs have been chosen based on what has been specifically requested by members of the Rohingya community. Our food packs are Zakat applicable and families are asked for consent on whether they are happy to accept Zakat donations in the form of food packs.
£30 will allow us to feed a family of five for two weeks. If you would like to support the Rohingya families you can donate today.
