Story
Following on from last year's success LLHM offers a fabulous central London half marathon route with musical performances, DJs, dancers, themed cheer stations and more along the way!
You'll start the run on the infamous Pall Mall and finish by Downing Street. The new route means you'll take in even more of London's most iconic landmarks including Big Ben, Westminster Bridge, St Paul's Cathedral, Leicester Square, China Town, Nelsons Column, Charing Cross Road, the Gherkin, the Shard, the Tower of London and the London Eye.
The RBLI are the leading provider of employability services to the disabled and disadvantaged in the Armed Forces community. They provide vital employment support, advice and homes to those struggling on civvy street.
The RBLI have a 83% success rate in supporting ex-forces personnel. We believe none of our Armed forces personnel should struggle when leaving the forces and deserve all the help they need for the sacrifice they've made for us.
Every like, share and donation helps towards getting our veterans back on their feet after leaving the forces.
It was my first ever half marathon and I was a bit nervous, but I neednt have been! The atmosphere was electric and there is no feeling in this world like the cheer stations calling your name what a boost. The camaraderie between runners and support from the crowds is something I will never forget! There are very few opportunities to explore the city with closed roads and this isnt one to be missed. I lived in London for years but running between the iconic landmarks it gave me a whole new perspective of the city. Its fabulously well organised, the route is a pleasure to run and I loved the goody bag and medal at the end. Cant wait for next year! - Rachel 2022 LLHM #TeamBrave runner
