Story
RBC Ride for the Kids returns in June 2019 with a two day, 195-mile ride from London to Brussels, Belgium. RBC staff and clients are taking on this charity ride in support of SportsAid, in the company of world class Olympic and Paralympic athletes and alumni.
The Ride starts from RBC's London office on Friday 28 June and riders will cycle the 195-mile route, via an overnight Ferry from Harwich, then on to Brussels.
RBC have been partners of SportsAid since 2014 and every year RBC support 50 up-and-coming, young British disabled and non-disabled athletes. You can find out more about the partnership by visiting http://www.sportsaid.org.uk/about/partners-and-donors/royal-bank-of-canada/. All of the money raised from this event, RBC Ride for the Kids, will go towards funding a series of athlete workshops across the UK for SportsAid athletes who do not get the opportunity to attend any SportsAid events. These workshops will support the athletes with media training, nutrition advice and mentoring to ensure that they can be the best athlete they can be. The Ride will also launch next years SportsAid #MyMiles campaign.
SportsAid provide financial support, recognition and personal development opportunities to the next generation of British athletes during the early stages of their career, the time they need it most.
Thank you for your support!
