Story
Many Ratcliffians, past and present, are doing wonderful things to help their local community during this crisis caused by Covid-19. Many of them are volunteering to produce PPE for front line healthcare staff and we would like to raise money to help them buy raw materials so that they can continue to produce more equipment for our brave healthcare workers.
One of our Sixth Form students, James Howling, has so far managed to make over 1,500 protection visors for health-workers, thanks to the generous support of his family and friends. But we would like to help James, and all the other Ratcliffians in their efforts to protect the NHS and save lives.
Every face visor costs about 50p to make so for every £1,000 we can raise the volunteers can make 2,000 more visors. Your support really will make a difference. Please help us to help them :)
Old Ratcliffian Harriot Rockey (Class of '12) along with her business partner at The Influence Network have been producing face visors using their 3D printer and Mark Gamble (Class of '71) has turned his distillery over to producing hand sanitiser rather than its usual Two Birds Gin!
