Story
The Ashcombe Trust is supporting the school's students to raise money to help fund the planned redevelopment at the back of the Ranmore building. This large space was previously occupied by three temporary classrooms that were demolished in the summer. This project will greatly improve facilities for our students and provide all year round access for break times and sport.
There are three key phases of the planned redevelopment
Phase 1- the creation of an outdoor space that can be used throughout the year.
Phase 2- the creation of an outdoor canteen facility.
Phase 3- the resurfacing of the current netball and tennis courts to create a modern multi-purpose sports facility.
The combined redevelopment costs for all three projects are in the area of £160,000. Such a large sum will require funding from several sources and we are looking for external grants and commercial donations.
The students' sponsored walk in 2017 raised a magnificent £20,000 for the new minibus that has been a great benefit to the students. We are hoping that a student and family contribution from this year's sponsored walk could raise a target of £30,000 towards the final costs of the Ranmore project.
Thank you for your support.
