Story

Alhamdulillah! The blessed month of Ramadan is upon us once again!

For Muslims across the globe, these few weeks are a sacred time for worshiping Allah (SWT). They offer an opportunity for devotion, reflection and celebration of the mercy and love of Allah (SWT). This RAMADAN, let's bring the whole family together and get involved in fund raising to help those in NEED!

Never will you attain the good [reward] until you spend [in the way of Allah ] from that which you love. And whatever you spend indeed, Allah is Knowing of it. [Quran 3:92]

CHARITY AND SUNNAH

Give charity without delay, for it stands in the way of calamity. [Al-Tirmidhi]

Prophet Muhammad (Peace be Upon him) has lived his life as an exemplary of giving. He (Peace be Upon Him) taught us the necessity of giving charity without delay, how it saves us from hellfire and also how it acts as a purifier.

Charity in Islam takes many forms, Zakat, Sadaqah, Lillah, Fitrana, Qurbani, and Kaffarah to name some. The two most essential are Zakat (Obligatory charity) and Sadaqah (Voluntary charity).

The concept of charity is deep rooted in Islam, giving charity is one of the five pillars of Islam it has obvious benefits. Charity is mentioned in the Quran many times; spending in the way of Allah, supporting orphans, feeding the destitute, relatives and travellers. This Ramadan, give Zakat with Cap Foundation and help the most disadvantaged and destitute people.
