Story

This Ramadan, we come to you with an urgent call for help— a plea to lift the burden of those who are enduring unimaginable hardships in the face of war, displacement, and poverty.

Serving displaced families in Gaza

Palestinian Refugees in Egypt

Syrian refugees in Turkey

Those in poverty in Pakistan

This Ramadan, we pledge to serve at least 1,000 iftar meals to Palestinian refugees in Egypt. Since the outbreak of the ongoing conflict, many Palestinian families have been displaced from their homes, losing everything. They have faced the heartbreaking loss of loved ones, livelihoods, and hope. These refugees are now living in camps, struggling daily for survival, with limited access to food, medical care, and basic necessities.

This Ramadan, we aim to provide not just meals, but a sense of dignity and humanity to those who have lost everything. Your generous contribution will help us serve nutritious iftar meals, bringing some comfort to families who otherwise would have nothing to break their fast with.

The Struggle of Syrian Refugees in Sanliurfa

But our mission does not stop there. We also continue to serve the Syrian refugees in Sanliurfa, Turkey—many of whom have been displaced from their homes for over 13 years due to the ongoing war. These families live in conditions that most of us cannot begin to imagine: overcrowded homes, insufficient access to food, a lack of educational opportunities, and no clear path to rebuilding their lives. Despite the years of struggle, the pain remains, and their needs are as urgent as ever.

Through your support, we can continue to provide them with food, medical care, and hope for a better future. Our mission is to ease their suffering and remind them that they are not forgotten.

Serving Children with Disabilities: A Call for Urgent Support

Furthermore, we have a crucial center that serves Syrian refugee children with physical disabilities in Sanliurfa. This center has been a lifeline for these children—providing them with specialized care, therapy, and education. However, without the funds raised this Ramadan, we face the heartbreaking reality that the centre will close.

These children, already facing immense challenges, will be left without the care they so desperately need. Their future—already uncertain—will grow even darker without the resources to continue providing life-changing care and support.

The Zakat donations we are raising this Ramadan are critical to keeping this center open. Without your generosity, we will have no choice but to shut down the center, and these children will lose access to the care that allows them to live with dignity.

Pakistan

In the cities of Mirpur and Rawalpindi, countless street children and those living in poverty face the daily struggle of hunger and isolation. This Ramadan, we have the opportunity to make a profound difference in their lives.

We are organizing community Iftar gatherings to provide these vulnerable children with a warm meal to break their fast and a sense of belonging. Sharing an Iftar meal is not just about nourishment; it's about coming together as a community, offering support, and showing these children that they are not forgotten.

Your Role in Changing Lives

This Ramadan, you have the power to bring hope to those who need it most. Your donation can help us serve 1,000 iftar meals to Palestinian refugees, sustain the Syrian refugee children with disabilities, and keep the doors of our center open.

Every penny you donate will make a tangible difference. When you contribute, you become part of their story—part of their struggle and their hope. You can offer a meal to a hungry child. You can provide critical medical care. You can ensure that children with disabilities continue to receive the therapy they need to thrive.

Ramadan is the time to give generously—and as we strive to make a difference, we ask for your support. Without the funds raised this month, our programs will cease, and the precious work we are doing will come to an end.

We ask for your support—your zakat, your donations, your prayers.

Donate now to Ummah Care Foundation, and together, we can bring hope, relief, and change this Ramadan.

JazakAllah Khair for your compassion, and for being a beacon of light in the darkness of hardship.
