Visit the charity's profile1st4Education is a registered charity involved in grassroots community work aiming to create a strong close-knit and peaceful community. Founded in 2016, 1st4Education was established to assist the youth in the Beckton community area providing a safe space for activities and supplementary classes, equipping young people with key skills and knowledge. Since its inception 1st4Education has adapted and grown to meet the needs of Newhams diverse community and now also provides crucial services to people of all backgrounds regardless of age, gender, race, ethnicity or religion.
To build community cohesion and foster understanding amongst people from the diverse communities in Beckton in the London Borough of Newham.
To improve quality of life by promoting recreational activities, mutual support and joint aid among our members and the wider community.
To provide or assist with advancing education through supplementary classes and other community education classes
To provide cultural and social opportunities
Developing and enriching by means of collective involvement of the community, to help each resident to achieve their full potential in turn building a cohesive and inclusive society.
Serving the Muslim and non-Muslims is an honour and an oppurtunity that secures rewards and blessings from Allah.
