Raise your pulse for the Playground Friday 16th July

We have a very exciting, active day planned for the children which we are calling Raise Your Pulse.

It is a whole school sponsored event with the aim of raising money to create a fun and engaging outdoor playground environment for all of our children.

Throughout the day, a pulse will be sounded around the school and classes will take part in different exercises or sporting skills for 2 minutes with the aim of reaching a class total, which they will work together to agree beforehand.

There will also be small sporting competitions held within bubbles throughout the day, as well as a whole school warm up at the start and a whole school dance for the children at the end.

What are we aiming for?

Children to have a fun sporting day, building their skills and team work whilst raising money for the school to improve their lunchtime and playground environment.

What will the money the children raise go towards?

- New line markings for the children to use at lunchtimes

- new playground resources which can be accessed around the playground hoops, balls, target games,

- new storage units for the children that they are able to access

- replacement benches for around the school

- board games and reading books for children who want a calmer lunchtime experience
