The Norbury Theatre is a volunteer-run, self-supporting community theatre. We rely solely on the support of our members and patrons in order to operate. As well as putting on plays and musicals of our own throughout the year we are also the venue of choice for a number of other societies and performers. We have a regular program of live streaming and cinema events and also host social activities such as play readings and member socials. As well as our adult society we have 2 successful youth sections.
The flat roof at the side of the theatre has fallen into disrepair in recent years owing mainly to the poor winters we have had. This is causing leaks into rehearsal rooms, changing rooms, toilets and back/side of stage areas. We need to raise the funds to replace the roof in order for the theatre to continue putting on high-quality amateur performances for years to come.
