Over the month of July, Wildwood's supporters have raised a fantastic £574 towards our Wilder Blean project!!!
It has amazed us to see the amount of effort you have all put into your fundraising activities and we can't wait to begin making Kent a wilder place

July can mean many things: the start of the holidays, that true feeling of summer - and just across the pond, it's National Bison Month!
With that in mind, we thought July would be the perfect opportunity to invite our supporters to take part in fundraising activities of their own to help our bison as we prepare for their reintroduction into the Blean - and what better way to raise awareness of our Wilder Blean project!
From July 1st to the 31st, we invite all of you who hold Kent's wildlife and woodland dear to their hearts to help us raise funds for rewilding projects like Wilder Blean. You can join an existing event in your local area or create your own and overcome a challenge that's personal to you. Whatever you choose to do, it will make a difference for our wildlife and we can't thank you enough for your support!
Funds raised will help us to make the wilding revolution a reality. By reintroducing bison and other browsing animals into the Blean, damaged ecosystems will be repaired and vital habitats restored, this will help to save many different threatened species of British wildlife for future generations.
The person who ends up with the most successful and the most unique fundraiser will WIN the chance to meet our bison, for them and a friend! So make sure you get involved because all fundraisers are immediately in with a chance of winning!

Here's some fundraising ideas to get you started, and more can be found on our fundraising page!
For our younger supporters, you could raise funds by offering to do more chores at home throughout the month of July to help your parents and other family members too.
Hold a garden sale to get rid of all the things you don't need any more, but think could still benefit your community.
Help your local community by offering to cut the grass, walk the dog, wash the car, clean windows or any other jobs they can't manage or find the time to do themselves
Supporting local businesses in your area by charting out a restaurant/pub crawl map people could pay for or charge a small donation to join you on guided trips.
Hold a bake sale at work or at school, get as many as you can involved by baking cakes and cookies, and then sell them throughout the day.
A good old coffee morning is sure to succeed! Invite your friends and neighbours around for coffee and cake, with a £1 entry and comfy seats.
Take part in organised events in your local area and ask for friends and family to support your efforts by donating and helping to spread the word.
Walk, run or cycle a set distance in your local area or take part as a virtual athlete from the comfort of your own home.
Hold a 24 hour online gaming stream in celebration of Wildwood - ask your friends to take part and to support you as you spend hours immersed in your favourite games/activities.
Help us make Kent a wilder place and prevent the extinction of our most endangered species of wildlife by signing up as a fundraiser today.
Its really easy, once you've decided what you'd like to do simply let everyone what you're doing and why it's so important to you, then ask them to sponsor you and to help spread the word. You'll be surprised how quickly it all adds up and you can have great fun at the same time!
