Story
Rainbow Hub provides services to children and young people with physical disabilities as a result of neurological conditions or brain injury. We are often described as a lifeline by children and families from across Lancashire and beyond.
We are asking all those who would usually take part in the Rainbow Ramble, as well as anybody else who would like to support us to make a donation and enter our virtual Rainbow Ramble on Saturday 24th April 2021.
Donations can be any amount. The usual entry fee for the Ramble is £15 for adults and £5 for children, free for those in wheelchairs and pushchairs. If you are able to donate that amount then fantastic, but if not, any amount you are able to donate will help us raise some of the funding we will have lost through not being able to hold our usual annual event.
You can enter by donating via the 'Give Now' button. Please make sure you include your email address so that we can keep in touch with you and send you a certificate after the challenge. We would like to encourage everyone who signs up to also set up a 'Fundraiser' page by clicking the 'start fundraising' button on the right, this allows you to send your very own fundraising link out to family and friends to gain sponsorship for your Rainbow Ramble challenge.
On the day of the event - Saturday 24th April 2021, as long as you stay safe and keep within the government guidelines, we are asking people to walk, run, or cycle between 5 & 11 miles - the two distances we usually do for the Rainbow Ramble, or even complete your own personal challenge!
Please don't forget to share your challenges with us on the build up to the day and share pictures and videos of you completing your challenge on the day - use the hashtag #rainbowramble.
