Story

Alison Williams is a nurse at Edinburgh Royal Infirmary working on the Covid Wards with critically ill patients. She noticed many patients were arriving on the wards with little or no personal effects and no way of contacting loved ones. So she decided to do something about it

Were providing essential items to help make patients more comfortable, as visitors are not allowed on the ward and so cant bring their loved ones toiletries, clothing, chargers etc...

Rainbow boxes will be provided to COVID positive wards in Lothian and West Lothian, providing patients who are separated from families with essential belongings they may not have.
