Radio West Fife 100 Club

Organised by Radio West Fife

We believe Dunfermline City should have it's own FM local radio station. Radio West Fife has been fundraising to get to FM and we are looking for 100 local businesses, organisations and individuals willing to donate £100, or more to reach that goal.

Radio West Fife is the community radio station for Dunfermline and West Fife. Staffed entirely by volunteers delivering a range of programmes informing the local community and supporting community activities. Radio West Fife is widely known for its support for local musicians and unsigned bands.

Story

During 2022 Radio West Fife hopes to launch an FM local radio station covering the newly designated City of Dunfermline and West Fife. To achieve that we need to raise at least £10000 and we are asking businesses, organisations and individuals who would like to support this fundraising campaign, and can afford it, to donate £100 to our 100 Club Campaign to cover the costs of purchasing and installing the FM transmitter equipment to allow us to get on air.

Having an FM station in Dunfermline would provide many more opportunities for West Fife and for local groups to use this to promote and grow what they do in our community.

We are entirely voluntary and depend on the generosity of our community to serve that community .

We understand, in these times, not everyone can afford to donate but to those who can we will be very grateful and will acknowledge the donations as much as we can.
