Hi my name is Gemma and I’m raising money for my local hospital radio station, Radio Redhill.

I am running a half marathon (20k) on 13th October at the AEPG Great Eastern Run in Peterborough. Last year, I ran 20k in Dorking during the Bacchus run, I was amazed and touched over how generous people were for my fundraiser. I really hope that things will go well again this year and I can raise money for Radio Redhill.

Radio Redhill has been broadcasting for 48 years, their ongoing aim is to provide a quality service to its hospital listeners.

I have been volunteering there for 9 years as a broadcaster and request collector. I think it is a fantastic station, which supports the patients and staff within the East Surrey Hospital.

My hope is that this fundraising campaign can raise money to support Radio Redhill in the upcoming months, enabling us to continue our service.
