If nothing changes, 1 in 3 people born each day will develop dementia in their lifetime. This equates to 127,000 of the 385,000 babies born today.
RAD Day 2023 is the first annual day of focus and fundraising for Race Against Dementia. Please join us to raise much needed funds and awareness of dementia across the world. Anyone, anywhere can take part.
RAD Day will take place on 21 January 2023 which is Lady Stewarts birthday, who is the inspiration behind Race Against Dementia.
Simply do 3 your way. This can be a 3k run, scoot, walk, or 3k minutes = 50 minutes racing, star jumping, skipping, or play 3k notes on an instrument, tell 3k jokes, play 3k minutes of board games, make 3 cakes and sell them for donations your 3, your way!

Race Against Dementia was founded by in 2016 by Sir Jackie Stewart, following his wife, Lady Stewart's diagnosis with frontotemporal dementia in 2014.

The funds raised by RAD Day will provide support for the Race Against Dementia Fellows Leadership Programme. This programme aims to develop the RAD Research Fellows' skills and take them to an F1 level of collaboration, teamwork and innovation.
