Story
QS World Merit supports young people to learn, grow and take action for a regenerative future. This December we are highlighting and raising funds for our councils who are setting up tangible and meaningful projects in their local community.
QS World Merit councils are formed by young leaders in communities all around the world, who work together and contribute towards the 17 Sustainable Development Goals. As a structured group of changemakers, QS World Merit councils organize actions, encounters, and events to uplift communities from the grassroots. Councils are the beating heart of our community and our delivery vehicle. They are in direct contact with the local community in every city.
Find out more about the project our councils are organizing this month and how you can make a difference in their communities.

80% of your donation goes straight to the council's project and pays for tangible resources to hand out. No funds go to the council members as salary, they are doing this voluntarily. 20% of your donation goes to the QS WM Charity to grow our work of supporting changemakers on the ground. We operate with the 80/20 principle where we are here to provide a framework to support our community members with opportunities, mentorship and resources to learn, grow and take action. The Charity is currently operating with a small team of 3 part-time employees supported by a team of volunteers.
