Story
For over 16 years, Place of Victory for all Nations, Belfast (PVN) has been working within the communities situated in and around Belfast City Centre. As well as our regular worship services, we have run and continue to run various projects and initiatives for the benefit of the community at large. We have had a dedicated team of volunteers over the years working to improve life opportunities for some of those most disengaged and marginalised in our society.
We operate in one of the most diverse and improvised areas in Northern Ireland. The Bradbury Hub (our current community base) is located in the Shaftesbury 2 Super Output Area, which is among the top 18% for multiple levels of deprivation.
With our various community outreach programmes like the youth club and homework club, we provide daily opportunities for people (of all abilities and backgrounds/beliefs). Through the food bank, we provide much needed food, clothing and other supplies for families struggling to make ends meet.
We also run cross-community and cross-cultural workshops, working with various communities to break down barriers and foster community cohesion. With the establishment of a permanent homebase, we are able to consolidate all operations into individual designated spaces.
