HOLD A PURPLE PICNIC AND SUPPORT NORFOLK'S BEREAVED CHILDREN
A Nelson's Journey Purple Picnic is an opportunity for families and groups to come together to remember someone special who had died, while also raising awareness and much needed funds for Nelson's Journey's support of bereaved children and young people in Norfolk.
There are many different places and ways that you can hold a Purple Picnic - including at schools, in gardens and at workplaces. You could even hold a virtual picnic and invite others to join you over a video call. From bake off competitions, dress down and non-uniform days, mini festivals, raffles, sporting challenges and activities to remember someone special, you keep surprising us with your creative ideas and enthusiasm and we are truly thankful.
A Purple Picnic provides an opportunity to create memories with friends, family and colleagues whilst raising vital funds for Nelson's Journey's vital services for bereaved children and young people in Norfolk. Since 1997, thousands of children have been supported by the charity. Offering the right help gives children the best opportunity to move forward positively with their grief.
