Help equip 10 rangers this World Gorilla Day

This World Gorilla Day, for one day only, we want to raise £3,210 – enough to equip 10 frontline rangers with 10 Ebola Crisis Gorilla Boxes.

It is a chance to celebrate these extraordinary animals by providing lifesaving equipment for the people protecting them – and helping safeguard gorillas from a deadly new threat.

Ebola is spreading through the eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo.

The consequences for gorillas could be devastating. During previous outbreaks, approximately 5,000 western lowland gorillas were lost, with scientists estimating that around 95% of infected gorillas died.

We cannot allow history to repeat itself.

So today, on World Gorilla Day, we are setting ourselves a very special challenge.

For this one day only, we want to raise £3,210 – enough to equip 10 frontline rangers with 10 Ebola Crisis Gorilla Boxes.

What better way to celebrate these extraordinary animals than by providing lifesaving equipment for the people who protect them – and helping safeguard gorillas from this deadly threat?

This one-day target forms part of our much wider Ebola Crisis Gorilla Box Appeal, through which we are raising funds to equip all our frontline rangers.
