Every two hours of the day somewhere in Australia someone's mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, aunt, or niece is diagnosed with gynaecological cancer. Today, five women will die from gynaecological cancer-related death. In Australia, one in 20 women will develop gynaecological cancer at some time in their lifetime. Endometrial/uterine cancer is the most prevalent form, followed by ovarian, cervical, vulval & vaginal. While we cannot change an existing cancer diagnosis, we are committed to working with patients, funders and other partners to grow our research and clinical trials here at QCGC and find causes, prevention and better gynaecological cancer treatment options for future generations to come.
