At 100 & First Foundation, we believe every young person deserves the chance to grow — no matter where they start. Our Growing Futures project supports young people who’ve been excluded from mainstream education, helping them rebuild confidence, learn practical skills, and imagine a brighter future.

Every week, students aged 14–16 attend Cheyney’s Farm, where they take part in hands-on activities like growing food, animal care, and small-scale construction projects — all underpinned by 1:1 mentoring and personalised guidance.

To take the project to the next level, we want to raise funds to buy a Project Pod — a small classroom space on the farm where students can:

Plan their growing and building tasks

Reflect on progress through mentoring

Learn practical skills by decorating and maintaining the pod themselves

The Pod will become a hub for learning, conversation, and growth — providing structure, shelter, and ownership for students who often feel overlooked by traditional education.

The crucial part is, we need to raise the full amount by 1st September 2025!
