What is Project Hope?
Project Hope is Phase Hitchin’s annual matched-funding campaign, running from 1st to 31st December. Thanks to our incredible anonymous sponsors, every pound you donate will be doubled — up to £7,500 (excluding Gift Aid).
That means your generosity has twice the impact — reaching more children and young people with the support they need to thrive.
🧠 Why This Matters
Right now, 1 in 6 young people are struggling with their mental health — but most won’t get the help they need. Many are waiting months for support or trying to navigate overwhelming emotions on their own.
That’s where Phase comes in.
We work in 14 primary and 3 secondary schools in Hitchin, delivering programmes that help young people build emotional resilience, manage stress, cope with change, and develop the confidence to face life’s challenges.
But our reach doesn’t stop at the school gates — over 150,000 people across the UK have accessed our free mental health and wellbeing resources online. Your support keeps those tools free and growing.

We also train and empower 16–17 year olds to deliver sessions to younger children — a model that not only inspires the next generation but helps older students grow in leadership, confidence and emotional understanding.
