It has been a challenging year for all of us, as the COVID-19 pandemic continues to turn lives and businesses upside down, causing untold economic and social disruption across the globe.
The Prince's Trust in the UK has seen the devastating toll the pandemic is taking on young peoples mental health, with more young people feeling anxious and showing symptoms of poor mental wellbeing than ever before.
We are asking for your help to support them into education, employment, or training.
The courses offered by The Trust give young people the practical and financial support needed to stabilise their lives, helping develop self-esteem and skills for work.
£100 could give one unemployed young person the chance to access an online course, so they can re-engage with their community and develop critical employability skills for the future
£50 could give a young person a face to face hour long session with a youth worker building their confidence, resilience, and motivation during this challenging time
£30 could get a young person in-front of potential employers at a day of virtual speed interviews, giving them the chance to access life changing opportunities
£20 could help us risk assess against Covid 19 and ensure the safety of young people and our staff when delivering our critical support in schools
£10 could give a young person the chance to speak to our helpline and get critical advice through phone calls and via our new online chat function
If you can give more and would like to discuss how your pledge can be the turning point for a young person, contact us at events@princes-trust.org.uk.
At this critical time, we need you to support us to help as many vulnerable young people as possible and to stop a generation of young people giving up on their futures and themselves.
