Story

The challenge:

Pedal, Paddle, Peak is a team challenge in beautiful Lake District. Teams of two and four will take on all three elements of the challenge together. This includes cycling 30 miles and canoeing two miles before climbing the magnificent Helvellyn Mountain the second highest peak in England! All in support of the 70,000 children and adults in the UK that live with a muscle-wasting condition.

The cause:

Muscular Dystrophy UK (MDUK) is the charity for the 70,000 people living with muscle-wasting conditions in the UK. There's no cure, it limits and, in many cases, shortens lives. MDUK funds pioneering research into treatments and cures to improve lives today and transform those of future generations. We offer information, advice and support to help people live well with a muscle-wasting or associated condition. And were driving change to see better care so that people can stay active, independent and connected.
