The Posse Foundation identifies, recruits and trains incredible young leaders and sends them in multicultural teams - Posses - to 65 top colleges and universities across the country.
Current events have brought into sharp focus the systemic inequities that afflict our nation. Building a more just society for all will require collaborative leaders who span a rich diversity of backgrounds and perspectives, those who are capable of shifting policy and practice, culture and power. Posses core mission is to develop such leaders.

Established in 2007, Posse Atlanta has served more than 830 outstanding student leaders from metro Atlanta high schools. These young people have received $148 million in scholarships from our top-tier partner colleges and universities.
Posse Atlanta has been training and supporting the leaders of tomorrow through collegiate prep, leadership and skills development workshops, mentoring and career development programing. Posses comprehensive program ensures that our Scholars persist and graduate from these top universities at a rate of 90% with the knowledge, skills and resources they need to excel as strong, inclusive leaders in their professional careers.
Posse is currently conducting its Dynamic Assessment Process for which we received more than 1,100 nominations from Atlanta. We will ultimately select 60 students to begin college as Posse Scholars in fall 2024. Posse Atlanta's current college and university partners are: Bard College, Boston University, Brandeis University, The College of Wooster, The George Washington University and Texas A&M University.
