Story

Plymouth Rag will take to the skies to dive for The Children's Society to help young people get the support they need.

This will help thousands of young people like our past service user, Huda. Huda was sexually assaulted when she was 15 years old, facing honour-based abuse at home afterwards, which led to her frequently going missing and subsequently falling victim to child criminal exploitation, when she became involved in county lines activity, after being made to pack and carry drugs to trap houses by her abusers in return for places to sleep, food and water. Huda was unaware that she was being exploited when she was referred to a worker from The Childrens Society, who supported her to break free from the cycle of exploitation. Huda is now living back at home and hopes to use her experiences to raise awareness of the reality of county lines.

As a team we can fight for young people to have a better future and to make sure they never have to feel alone!
