Story
...dance really lives in our bodies and the thing that I've come to learn, embrace and lift up is that we have history in our bodies that's living and breathing. We have our own individual history, but we also have our heritage. Each one of us has our movement language and its about tapping into that and pulling that out." Camille A. Brown
For our very last semester at UNCSA, were getting the ball rolling on our Pluck Solos. For the contemporary 4th years, this is our opportunity to not only show everything we've learned over our 4 years, but also our personal styles that have developed along the way. Unfortunately, we wont be performing them live this year due to necessary COVID safety measures, but we have once again taken it in stride, and will be filming our solos ourselves! Thanks to the generosity of you, our supporters, we were able to buy a piece of high-quality filming equipment that will enable us to capture our work beautifully. And since we are filming them ourselves, we get the chance to be director, choreographer, and cinematographer all in one!
