Story

Wetwheels is delighted to have been selected as the nominated charity for the biggest event The Solent has seen in a long while. On Saturday 6th August 2022, sail boats and power boats of all sizes, representing sailing and yacht clubs from across The Solent will gather off Osborne Bay in a day of celebration to mark the 70th year of HM The Queen's reign. It will be an opportunity for the boating community to show their appreciation to The Queen and the support for yachting and boating by the Royal family. VIP's from across the region will board a small fleet of Wetwheels boats to view the spectacle from the water. Wetwheels vessels from as far afield as Jersey, Dover and Falmouth, plus our local Hamble and Portsmouth based boat will have a grandstand seat. Please support us by donating to enable us to continue providing the opportunities for disabled people to access our coastal waters.
