Please help us to transform the sports facilities at Burbage Primary School, Buxton. The school has been awarded the gold award for school sports every year since 2016. Building a Multi Use Games Area (MUGA) will enhance the sports provision for the current children and future generations to come. The pitch can be used all year round, and will benefit the wider community, as it will be available for organised use beyond the school day. The positive impact of regular physical activity on well-being is well known and the MUGA will increase the activities available to the children. The school has organised a daily mile before school for several years now, which is just one example of how healthy lifestyle choices are promoted and integrated within the school day. The MUGA will raise the profile of sports within the school and we hope inspire the children to be fit and active and develop their love of sport.

The total cost is over £80000 and will be raised via grant applications and PTFA events, but we also hope to raise a portion of the funds via donations.
