Story

Hikers will enjoy the rural beauty of one of England's oldest and least trodden national trails. New to 2024, we are switching things up and reversing the route! Giving you the opportunity to enjoy new vantage points, whilst tackling new inclines and challenges along the way.

So, lace up your walking boots and running shoes for a 25km, 35km or 55km challenge along the Pilgrims Way to the historic cathedral city of Canterbury and onward to the finish line at the picturesque village of Wye. It's the perfect challenge for all abilities.

Complete the Pilgrims Way Challenge your way by choosing to hike or run one of three route distances.

25km hike (Canterbury - Wye)

35km hike (Dover - Canterbury)

55km hike (Dover - Canterbury - Wye)

It costs Pilgrims in excess of £14 million each year to provide specialist end-of-life care, free of charge, to the people of east Kent. Our vision is of a community where people with a life-limiting illness are supported and empowered, together with their family and friends, to live well in mind and body, and make the most of the time they have. We rely on our incredible supporters, like you, to help us reach this total by taking part in events like the Pilgrims Way Challenge!

Thank you so much.
