Pets Corner needs your love and support!

Entry is free for anyone who wants to visit but we rely entirely on donations from the public to enable the farm to continue to survive and thrive. Whatever you can donate, however large or small, it will be greatly appreciated.

Our Pets Corner staff and volunteers work tirelessly in all kinds of weather to ensure our animals and birds are well cared-for and happy, and to provide a welcoming, fun and educational visit for thousands of people each year. Although we couldn't open during the pandemic we were still there caring for the animals.

A bit of history - Pets Corner was founded in the 1960s in Jesmond Dene to enable the community to experience farm life and to learn about animal care. We have an assortment of animals and birds here, including visiting pigs and sheep from our partner farms, and our permanent residents including goats, rabbits, guinea pigs, birds, ducks, poultry and fowl.

Did you know that we provide a second-chance home to some of our resident animals?

Through links with partners - including the RSPCA - we are able to adopt some fur babies on behalf of the citizens of Newcastle, giving them a second chance to be loved and part of our Pets Corner family.

Please Note: sadly, we are not able to take in animals directly from the public. If you are no longer able to give a good home to your pet, please contact your local animal

shelter or the RSPCA.

Don't forget to Gift Aid your donation so we can claim additional income from the governments Gift Aid scheme.
