I have cycled end to end at 75, at 80, and at 85, and between them raised over £58,000 for charity. I plan to attempt to do it again just after my 90th birthday in August. I intend to do it for two homeless charities, The Salvation Army, and Access Community Trust.

I am aware of my good fortune in having a home to live in. It makes me very aware of those who are homeless and I pray for them almost everyday. I am attempting this ride to raise money for two excellent homeless charities and hope to raise £50,000 which will be equally split between them both.
