Story
#ProtectPendleside during the coronavirus outbreak
As you may have seen by now Pendleside Hospice has had to launch our Keep Your Hospice Open campaign and whilst we are all experiencing worrying times, here at Pendleside we are also concerned for our ability to continue to care for the people of Burnley and Pendle who need Hospice support over the difficult weeks and months ahead.
I appreciate that you may yourself be experiencing hardship in many ways as a result of coronavirus pandemic, but I also know from the great many messages of support and offers of help, that you, the people in our community want to assist us in maintaining our services, so Im calling on you to help to support our patients during the coronavirus outbreak.
In light of the huge financial losses in charitable income expected in the forthcoming months, we need your support now more than ever. Please consider supporting us in any way you can.
Ways you can help are joining our lottery, or making a one off or regular donation via our website, www.pendleside.org.uk or donating on this page. We will also be running some exciting virtual fundraising events that you can get involved in from the safety of your own home so like and follow us on social media to keep up to date.
I would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank our staff, volunteers and supporters for standing by us during these unprecedented, difficult times.
Any support you can give will be very much appreciated in helping us to be there at peoples time of need.
With all best wishes,
Helen McVey
Chief Executive
