Paws Rescue Qatar community outreach

We are the only dedicated organisation in Qatar who cares for a large community colony of around 100 dogs and cats. They are fed daily, receive vaccines, medical care, microchip and sterilisation but rely solely on public donations to do so.

Story

These photos are from a very special place where we have a large colony of almost 100 animals. They are fed daily by a dedicated team of volunteers. They are vaccinated, microchipped and sterilised where we can afford. Because we are the only organisation in Qatar doing this size community outreach for a specific site, we are always in need of support to keep them happy and safe, as these are some of the unfortunate ones living day to day not knowing their fate. Will they be shot? Will they catch parvo? Will they be driven into? Will they be picked up and abused? Will they be attacked by the pack? This is sadly the outcome for many of the dogs and cats at the site.

Over our time caring for this pack, many have not made it out. Our mission is to keep them safe and healthy on the street until we can hopefully secure adopters for them, or make space at our centre to bring them in.

No amount is too small as even smaller contributions all add up, and we are so grateful. If all of our followers and supporters donated as little as 1QAR on a monthly basis, we would be able to save their lives from misery on the street.

Please meet some of the pack below and dont forget to check out the gallery album on this page!

Parvo virus is rife in the puppies, but they are too young to vaccinate so stand a high chance of getting sick. Lack of fosters means there is no safe shelter for them.
