Paws For Thought

The bond between a person and their dog is an incredible source of comfort, security & companionship. For many it is also the only loving relationship they have. Help us to in supporting people and pets stay together.

Story

There is compelling evidence on the positive effect having a pet can have on your mental and physical health. There is equally compelling evidence of the negative effects of homelessness on health, wellbeing and life expectancy. Owning and caring for a pet can be a positive contributor to improving lives. We spend £6000 a year to provide dog food and pet packs to people on the street and in accommodation. We run monthly Doggy Days in Edinburgh and Glasgow supporting people to access vet care, personal care and food for their pets. Your help would be pawsitively amazing. Thank you.
