Help our team to keep rescuing and feeding the stray dogs, who are forgotten. In desperate need of help during the covid-19 lockdown in Romania.
The 2.6 Challenge was founded by the London Marathon and other mass participation event organisers as a national virtual event to help UKs charities during the Coronavirus lockdown. The event launches this Sunday 26 April, the date of this years London Marathon. The idea is that as many people as possible chose a challenge around the number 2.6 or 26. You then get sponsored or donate money to Paws2Rescue.
What you choose to do is up to you, perhaps you could read with your children for 26 minutes a day? Can you listen to 2.6 books in a week? Or for 2.6 hours a day? Walk around the garden for 26 minutes or even read 26 books during lock down, or learn 26 words in another language, hold a virtual dinner with 26 friends, bake 26 cakes, gardening for 26 days in a row or if you fancy something more physical you could run or walk 2.6 miles, or do 26 sit-ups or press ups.
Why not set your own fundraising page up and link it to our campaign here? Thank you for not forgetting those who cannot find food on their own.
