Story

Parity for Disability is an established, award-winning local charity. Parity exists because when a young person with profound and multiple disabilities (almost all of whom have a combination of learning and physical disabilities) finishes full-time education, they're left with few services that offer the complex support needed which leaves them facing inactivity, isolation and deterioration. Through our bases in Farnborough, Hampshire and in Camberley and Mytchett, Surrey, students aged 18+ manage their day. Our specialist staff, flexible transport, dedicated space, equipment and technologies provide a lifeline, opening up a world of opportunities and create ties across the whole community.

Parity students need specialist staff, flexible transport, tailored space, equipment and technologies to build friendships and networks, use and develop skills, participate, contribute to their community in fact, do what everyone else is doing.

About the charity

Parity for Disability provides vital services for people with multiple disabilities, their families and carers in Surrey, Hampshire and Berkshire.
