Project 1 - Extreme Poverty Outreach

Your kind donations will help people who are living in such dire conditions and poverty that do not even have the means to fulfil their basic and fundamental necessities of everyday life.
Through your donations medication, food, shelter, clothing, financial help with living costs will be provided for young disabled girls, fathers who cannot provide vital treatment for their baby daughters abnormal illnesses, orphans, sight and hearing impaired children, widows, mothers with many children and no male Mehram to provide for the family, the elderly, young children whose fathers are deceased and mothers are unwell, families surviving on rations for a single day.
This short report is in reference to Project 1. Your contribution has benefited our deserving brothers and sisters whom we have aided in the following areas:
Total: 170 families
- Karachi, Sindh - approx. 30 families
- Interior Sindh - approx. 20 individuals/families who had lost their houses due to the floods
- Quetta, Balochistan - approx. 35 families affected by floods in mountainous areas and to whom no prior aid had reached from an NGO or charity.
- Bahawalpur/ Thonsa, Punjab - approx. 45 families
- Battagram, KPK - approx. 40 families
The following forms of aid and assistance were provided over the course of the year to the various needy recipients:
- Food packs
- Cash
- Clothes
- Orphans financially supported to enable their marriages
- Medical treatments and medical costs
- Small business setup
- Small house repairs
- Well and water infrastructure built
- Construction of a number of Masjids, and repairs of Masjids in poor areas
- Financial support to poor families struggling to pay off small house loans
- Rickshaw repair
- Flood victims assisted
- Financial contributions to support small Islamic institutes providing Quran & Hifz classes for poor students
- Poor family assisted in starting a small icecream business.
We are continuing this work, by the Permission of Allah (SWT), so will continue to accept your donations. May Allah (SWT) reward your generosity with His Limitless Generosity.
- £30 can provide a basic food pack to a poor family providing a month's supply
- £15 can provide a poor person with a new pair of clothes & shoes for Eid.
Project 2 - Achievements of DG Khan Education Institute and it's affiliated branches year 1445 AH/ 2024

This short report is in reference to Project 2, which relates to supporting the DG Khan Madrassa, its affiliated branches, and some sponsoring its students. The institute's achievements over the last year 1445/2024 include:
- Total students: 684
- 268 students completed Nazra (looking in & reading the Quran), 126 of whom were female
- 103 students completed memorisation of the Quran, 55 of whom were female
- 48 Hafiz students completed the revision of the Quran; 26 female Hafiza students
- 26 female students completed the Aalimah course
- 47 female students completed the sewing and embroidery course
- 55 students passed primary education, 26 of whom were female
- 54 students passed secondary education, 36 of whom were female
- 83 elderly women attending the Understanding of Deen Course.
Note: Each student is from a poor family, many are orphans, some are sight-impaired, some are mobility impaired, some sisters are widows.
Many of their houses were swept away by the recent catastrophic flash floods.
This year the institute again is in a huge debt due to the ongoing works which started to repair the damage caused by the floods.

For instance, £100 was the cost for this academic year per student.
Project 3 - Achievements of Madaniah Institute , Karachi. Year 1445 AH/ 2024

With your kind support, WAFA have delivered aid and assistance in the form of 3 Projects in the last year.
This short report is in reference to Project 3, which relates to supporting the Jamia Madniya Madrassa of Karachi, and sponsoring its students. The Madrassah's achievements over the last year include:
- Total number of graduates for the previous academic year: 124
- Total current students on the school roll: 1064. These students are receiving both secular and Islamic education.
- Total number of teachers: 58.
- 38 students completed Nazra, including 23 females.
- 10 students completed the memorization of Quran, 6 of whom were female.
- 18 female students graduated from the Tajweed course.
- 17 female students completed the 2-year course of Darasat Deenyah.
- 15 female students graduated as qualified teachers.
- 5 female students completed a specialised course in the Arabic language.
- 15 male students and 6 female students took the matriculation exam in modern sciences
Note: All teachers and students are from poor backgrounds and some are orphans.
