The performing arts is an important aspect of life at Oswestry School. Our successful Performing Arts department is a vibrant and popular department producing dozens of high calibre shows and performances every term.

Not only that, the Oswestry School Performing Arts Academy (open to all) is an example of our commitment to inspiring young people in our local community. With over 115 members from 21 local schools, the academy is a place where young people not only reach high levels of excellence in both dance and drama, but are inspired, grow in confidence and create special bonds of friendship that will no doubt last a lifetime.

We have a vision to create the facilities to match the talent of all the young people who use the current theatre at Oswestry School.

Our plan is to reburbish and expand our theatre into a hi-tec, modern theatre with additional spaces for rehearsal, exhibitions and smaller events.

The fundraising appeal has got off to the best of starts, thanks to the incredible generosity of our major Patrons. Thanks to those individuals, we have already acheived half of our fundraising target. We now need your help to get us to the finishing line.
