Oxton Xmas Lights Switch-on signals the start of Oxton's Xmas celebrations. The village will be lit up and our giant Xmas tree will provide a backdrop to our thriving businesses.
The lights cost at least £2500 to pay for the road closure and the electrical contractor. We make some of this back from selling mulled wine and running a raffle but we always make a loss.
We are inviting you to make a small donation to help us cover our costs. Any surplus will be donated to the Mayor's Chrity and the Salvation Army.
