To raise money for Out of the Blues, Professor Hamish McAllister-Williams has taken on the challenge of become a madman of Ventoux. To find out more, please read The Road to Ventoux blog.
By supporting Professor McAllister-Williams on this challenge you will also be supporting international quality research in mood disorders. These projects not only provide important scientific information but also support the development of young researchers which given a national shortage of such individuals working in mental health is vitally important. The research conducted via Out of the Blues will aid our understanding of mood disorders and how best to treat them.
Out of the Blues is a charity set up by the Northern Centre for Mood Disorders. The objective of the charity is to facilitate and enhance research into Mood Disorders by researchers based in the North of England. Funding to teams of researchers can include individuals with other affiliations. The research can be of any nature as long as it meets the vision and values of the charity.
