The Fund's focus is to support organizations and projects that serve Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Intersex, and Asexual (LGBTQIA) communities in Los Angeles County. The giving priorities are to support organizations or projects that focus on underserved and marginalized communities including youth, transgender, racial & ethnic minorities, seniors, undocumented immigrants, and immigrants.
Since its inaugural year in 2012, the OUT Fund has made grants of over $400,000 to local organizations. Organizations must be designated a 501(c)(3) charity or have a fiscal sponsor. Organizations budget size of under $1 million preferred.
