Join Off The Fence's Annual Big Sleep Out and make a real difference in the fight against homelessness!
The Need
The number of individuals forced onto the streets of Brighton & Hove has skyrocketed by a staggering 155% in recent years, with an average of 16 new people becoming homeless each month. This increase has created a huge surge in demand for support services.
What you can do about it
Join us at Off The Fence’s annual sleep-out on the South Side of St Peter’s Church on Friday, November 8th from 5 pm and sleep out for one night in central Brighton to help raise money to address the homelessness crisis in our city.
The evening challenge includes a warm picnic dinner, live music, a shelter-building competition, testimonials from our homeless community and everything needed to ensure a fun, safe, and memorable experience.
It costs £20 to take part in the Big Sleep Out which includes your picnic dinner, hot drinks all night and some cardboard boxes for your shelter. By signing up to our JustGiving page and asking your friends, family and colleagues to sponsor you, we will be able to realise our target of £40,000. We have a limit of 200 places for the sleep out. If every participant can raise a minimum of £100 in sponsorship we’ll be halfway to our target of £20,000.
