Kieren, Wayne and Diane, plan to cycle the length of the Leeds to Liverpool canal in two consecutive days, that's a total of 127 miles.
Anthony Carr, Health Improvement Officer for Refresh BWDBC has kindly loaned 2 of the bikes.
The trio will set off from Liverpool on Friday 28th April and cycle approximately 56 miles back to Nightsafes head office in Blackburn. The route will see them pass through Burscough, Wigan and Chorley (stopping off at Diane's sisters for cake) before making their way to Blackburn.
Day 2 will see them start in Leeds and cycle back to Blackburn. They are hoping to arrive in Skipton for a chippy lunch before continuing through Nelson, Burnley and back to Blackburn. Day 2 is longer, around 70 miles.
Wayne said 'Neither of us three are cyclists, but we have been training hard. Although the canal is mostly flat it not easy as the surface is uneven and is hard going at times'
Money raised will go towards supporting Nightsafes valuable work with young homeless people aged 16-24.
