Our Vision
To create, shape and maintain a strong and stimulated community by delivering an outstanding student experience and impactful socially responsible teaching through faith, knowledge and inspiration.
To nurture a love for education and humanity based on the morals ethics and spirituality as taught by the Holy Prophet (pbuh) and the Ahlulbait (as). - Dr Baqir Naqvi
The JtM Centre.
From humble beginnings (less than 15 students) we have seen a steady increase in demand for Islamic teaching for children and youth (aged 5 -18+.) Currently, we run a Sunday School teaching approximately 200 children, over 8 classes and have a waiting list of approximately 50 children.
The classes are currently housed in the main hall, which is un-partitioned, leading to noise transference, and 8 outdoor porta-cabins, which are too small for larger class sizes. As temporary buildings, they can also be cold and uncomfortable.
We have now reached the limits of capacity for these buildings and facilities. They are not fit for purpose nor for our ambitions, and this brings us to the next step in our evolution.
The One Vision Project
Our One Vision goal is to create a purpose-built, iconic, sustainable, multi-purpose centre, to fulfil our needs for today, and fit for the future.
This is being constructed on the current site which measures approximately 1.5 acres and which is wholly owned by the Al-Muntazir Trust. We have approved plans to extend the current amenity to provide a purpose-built facility to surmount many of the current restrictions and challenges we face and to develop and future proofed solution.
The #OneVision Project sees the construction of an iconic 1400 sq. m building that will encompass state of the art facilities including classrooms, dining hall, library, resource centre, media hub, creche, multipurpose function hall and meeting rooms.
Jamia tul Muntazir (JtM) strives to create a spiritually and intellectually enriched community that promotes knowledge, achievement, leadership, harmony and humanity within a positive Islamic environment.
This state-of-the-art establishment will provide education for 480+ students and will allow us to expand and develop rapidly according to our Vision and Mission statement. Further, community wide adult support and classes will be implemented bridging the gaps and needs within our community.
Construction has Begun!
The building is currently 1/3 of the way through its construction, and we are seeking funds to allow us to develop the vision to completion.
When completed, the buildings will provide Islamic Education and community amenity in a modern high quality environment together with cutting edge computing and multi-media facilities.
Start of the art facilities for a modern, 21st-century Madrassa.
Your Legacy
Now, in 2019, with your help, we as a Muslim community have the resources and wealth to build a centre that the next generation can truly be proud of. We need to come together as one.
This could be your legacy. Your gift to the current and future generations. It will be a state-of-the-art facility on a par with any of the mainstream western school buildings that children in secular education experience.
JtM will be the 'Heart of the Community' for all members of our community. With added facilities to include a community centre, multi-function hall, library, media hub, sports hall, meeting rooms, creche and café; together, let's make this happen!
