Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

OMC Claims has partnered with Special Olympics Ireland and is committed to raising €10,000 through staff lead fundraising in 2024. The funds raised will go towards the many life changing programmes provided by Special Olympics Ireland, and we at OMC Claims cannot wait to see the real difference we can make to the lives of the Special Olympics athletes.

Special Olympics Ireland provides a quality year-round sports programme that is embedded in local communities and offers health and wellbeing opportunities to over 8000 athletes with intellectual disabilities from 4 years of age upwards, throughout the island of Ireland.

Athletes are given opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in sharing gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes and the wider community.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast, and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So, it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

About the charity

Special Olympics is a sport organisation for people with an intellectual disability, currently supporting nearly 8,000 athletes across Ireland, who are training for much more than the physical benefits that come from sport, but the emotional and social development that come from being part of S.O.I.
