Win an amazing okapi themed prize in our World Okapi Day Free Prize Draw.

To celebrate World Okapi Day and the birth of Daphne's calf, we're offering you the chance to win this fabulous prize.

The lucky winner will get to go behind the scenes with our keeper Zoe to discover more about this incredible species and to join her in preparing lunch for our okapis. The winner and their guest will also receive lunch at Café Graze, an annual okapi adoption, a beautiful framed print featuring an okapi by our very talented designed Ali Cook and a cuddly okapi toy.

To enter, simply make a donation and guess the name of the okapi calf by writing it in the comments section on the donation form. Zoe and the team have already named the calf and a clue to the name is behind Zoe in this photo below. Don't forget to click the box to 'stay in touch' to ensure that JustGiving can pass your details to us and your donation isn't anonymous. Anonymous donations can't be contacted, and therefore won't be included in the draw.

The prize draw will close at 23.59 on Sunday 29th October. Winners will be selected at random by a computer on Monday 30th October and notified by a member of the fundraising team - fundraising@marwell.org.uk

THE PRIZES:

There will be one main prize winner, selected at random, who will

- get to spend the day at Marwell Zoo with a guest

- go behind the scenes with Zoe to prepare lunch for the okapi

- receive lunch for you and a guest in Café Graze

- become the proud owner of a standard annual okapi adoption

- receive a beautiful framed print featuring an okapi by @pingsweetie

- receive an okapi cuddly toy

Two additional 'runner-up' winners will also be drawn. Each runner-up will receive a standard annual okapi adoption.

TERMS & CONDITIONS:

- Each donation made will act as an entry into the prize draw. All funds will help support the animals you love.

- Anonymous donations can't be contacted, and therefore won't be included in the draw.

- You may make several entries in to the prize draw, but only one prize will be awarded per entry.

- All entries will be entered into the prize draw, regardless of whether they have guessed the correct name of the okapi calf.

- The prize draw will close at 23.59 on Sunday 29th October. Winners will be selected at random by a computer on Monday 30th October.

- Winners will be notified by email (using the details provided at entry) up to seven days after the draw date. Winners are required to respond to the email that they receive from us and in the event that we have not heard anything from them after 20 days the prize will be forfeited and we will be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above.

- In order to comply with the Advertising Standards Authority we are required to either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid prize draw has taken place. It is therefore a condition of entry that the winners agree to their name and county of residence being made publicly available if they win. If you object to any or all of your surname, county and winning entry being published or made available, you should contact us fundraising@marwell.org.uk. In such circumstances, we must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority upon their request

- The behind the scenes experience is available on one day between 30th October and 29th March 2024. It is not available for the duration of Glow. We will do our upmost to accommodate your chosen date. The experience should ideally be booked at least four weeks in advance by contacting fundraising@marwell.org.uk

- Behind the scenes participants must be aged 16 years or over. Participants up to and including the age of 17 must be accompanied by an adult (18 years and over).

- Lunch will be provided for you and one guest in Café Graze. Lunch vouchers for use in Café Graze will be provided for the day of your visit and behind the scenes experience. Lunch includes a main meal and a hot or soft drink of your choice . Vouchers are valid for one visit only and no change will be given.

- Okapi adoptions are valid for one year, commencing from 1st November 2023. The adoption package includes those items listed on our website and may not be transferred to an alternative species. Should you wish to gift the adoption to another person, we would be happy to organise this for you at the time of confirming the prize. Changes cannot be made thereafter.

- The prize draw is open to anyone aged 18 years or over, excluding Marwell Wildlife employees or any third party directly associated with the administration of the free prize draw.

- All entries must be received either by JustGiving or by sending a postcard / letter with your name, email address and contact telephone number to: World Okapi Day Prize Draw, Fundraising Team, Marwell Wildlife, Colden Common, Winchester, Hampshire SO21 1JH

- The prize draw is free to enter by post

- The is no alternative cash value, the prize is not transferable and no additional travel expenses will be provided.

- We reserve the right to suspend, cancel or modify the prize draw if circumstances beyond our control make this unavoidable at any time (and for any reason) without notice.
