OhSNAP! Student Food Programs was established 11 years ago to help address food insecurity for students at Cal Poly Humboldt through outreach efforts such as providing CalFresh assistance and connecting students to resources. In 2014, we were able to secure a location for the pantry, making this year the 10-year anniversary of the OhSNAP! Food Pantry. This is a very exciting milestone to celebrate, and yet the need for this important service continues to grow. As food prices continue to rise, the need has never been higher. Food insecurity greatly affects students' academics and well-being, and we aim to ensure that no student has to decide between buying textbooks and having a meal.

Your gift will go directly to food purchases for the pantry. Financial gifts are so significant because they allow us to purchase food more efficiently than an individual shopper, which is why they are so important to helping food programs succeed. Donations of this kind also go directly to funding fresh food efforts, including the seasonal farm stand.
