Welly Walk for Raindrops

Walk 5k on Saturday 19 or Sunday 20 June to mark Nystagmus Awareness Day 2021. Whether its raining or not, you're invited to join in the fun and walk 5k in your wellies for nystagmus. Bring the whole household - don't forget the dog!

Story

To celebrate the theme of Raindrops this Nystagmus Awareness Day we're inviting everyone to walk 5k for nystagmus in their wellies.

Money raised from sponsorship for the Welly Walk will help bring hope of possible treatments for the 1 in 1,000 adults and child living in the the UK with nystagmus.

Nystagmus means involuntary movements of the eye. It impairs vision, affecting focus and depth perception. At least 1 in 1,000 babies are born with nystagmus. There is currently no cure. The Nystagmus Network is a UK registered charity which provides support, raises awareness and funds research.
